Job summary

Colonial Parking Inc. in Washington, DC is seeking a Facility Specialist for the EAST END location at The Lansburgh. This full-time position requires mobility between sites and a flexible schedule to cover nights and weekends.

The role involves collecting payments, processing transactions, maintaining site safety and operations, and coordinating maintenance needs. You will also supervise daily activity and accident reports to ensure smooth facility operations and high standards of customer

Responsibilities

• Able to move around and work in different locations where they might be needed.
• Able to adapt to different parking location's manual, automatic, or valet positions
• Flexible working schedule and ability to work nights and weekends if needed.
• Collect payment either through cash, credit card, or validation, always securing cash according to the company's standard operating procedures.
• Accurately process exception transactions (e.g., lost tickets, grace period tickets, etc.) according to company policy, including completing the applicable form.
• Provide the correct change for cash transactions and issue a receipt for all fee transactions.
• Provide the company's standards of service with each customer including maintaining the required uniform appearance, stating the company greeting, answering questions, resolving issues and thanking each customer upon exit.
• Ensures that sites are maintained propery, and the company's safety procedures are being observed at all times, including facility safety checks and confirming that each field employee is equipped with all required licenses and that the licenses are valid.
• Determine the need for maintenance and/ or repairs and forward to Operations manager.
• Supervises completion of daily activity reports for facility; responsible for completion of accident report.
