Remedy Staffing seeks a skilled Facility Services Technician on Oahu to service, repair, install, and perform preventative maintenance on commercial refrigeration, HVAC, and food service equipment. The role requires troubleshooting, independence, and strong communication with customers and crew.

Ideal candidates have HVAC/R certification (EPA preferred) and experience with kitchen equipment, with a focus on safety and reliability in a fast-paced facility environment.

Qualifications

• HVAC/R certification, technical training, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• EPA Certification preferred.
• Experience servicing commercial refrigeration, HVAC systems, and/or commercial kitchen equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to climb ladders and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Must pass pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls to diagnose and repair refrigeration, HVAC, and commercial kitchen equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and determine effective repair solutions.
• Perform repairs, maintenance, and installation of commercial refrigeration and food service equipment.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.
• Assist with equipment upgrades, replacements, and larger installation projects.
• Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and parts usage documentation.
• Communicate professionally with customers, site personnel, and team members.
• Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and industry regulations.

Salary: $85,000 - $95,000 annually (depending on experience)

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Facility Services Technician to perform service, repair, installation, and preventative maintenance on commercial refrigeration, HVAC, and food service equipment.

This position plays a critical role in supporting facility operations by ensuring refrigeration systems, HVAC equipment, and commercial kitchen appliances remain safe, functional, and operating efficiently. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, customer-focused, and able to troubleshoot equipment issues independently in a fast-paced environment.
