GEO Corrections & Detentions is seeking a dedicated Janitorial Officer to oversee custody, care, and control of detainees, enforcing company and contracting agency rules. You will monitor detainee movements, coordinate posts, and provide security duties as required.

Responsibilities include counts, emergency response, incident reporting, and ensuring facility cleanliness, with shifts and overtime as needed. A high school diploma is required and security experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in security environment preferred.
• Willingness to work overtime as required.
• Ability to handle physical and mental stress of extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Oversees detainees in living, recreation, dining, and visitation areas.
• Monitors detainee movements, conducts counts, and provides emergency response as needed.
• May be assigned to posts including control room, entrances, health services, and security duties.
• Provides security for program activities and supervises labor crews.
• Initiates disciplinary reports and prepares daily logs.
