Job summary

Digital Force Technologies (DFT) is seeking a Facility Security Officer to lead its industrial security program, ensuring compliance with DoD, NISPOM, and DCSA requirements. The role oversees personnel security, facility security, and classified contract compliance.

You will manage PERSEC, e-QIP submissions, reinvestigations, and staff briefings. Self-inspections, visitor approvals, and security policy development are part of the duties, with emphasis on protecting classified materials and CUI.

Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret clearance required.
  • 5+ years in industrial security (FSO/AFSO/ Security Manager) preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of NISPOM, DCSA guidelines, DoD security regulations.
  • Experience with JPAS/DISS, e-QIP, and other clearance systems.
  • Physical security, access control, and handling of classified material familiarity.
  • Ability to conduct training, briefings, and self-inspections.

What We Need:

DFT is looking for a Facility Security Officer (FSO) to lead and maintain its industrial security program. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with DoD, NISPOM, and DCSA security requirements while overseeing personnel security, facility security, and classified contract compliance.

What You’ll Do:
  • Manage and enforce security programs in compliance with NISPOM, DoD, and DCSA requirements.
  • Oversee personnel security clearances (PERSEC), including processing e-QIP submissions, reinvestigations, and employee briefings/debriefings.
  • Conduct and document self-inspections to ensure proactive compliance with government security standards.
  • Handle visitor requests and facility access approvals for cleared and uncleared personnel.
  • Develop and implement security policies and training programs to maintain a strong security culture.
  • Maintain classified materials and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) in accordance with security protocols.
  • Manage physical security measures, including access control, alarm systems, and secure areas.
  • Investigate and report security incidents, violations, and risks to leadership and government agencies.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with DCSA and other government agencies during audits, inspections, and security assessments.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
  • Active Top Secret U.S. security clearance
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial security, preferably as an FSO, AFSO, or Security Manager.
  • Strong knowledge of NISPOM, DCSA guidelines, and DoD security regulations.
  • Experience with JPAS/DISS, e-QIP, and other security clearance systems.
  • Understanding of physical security requirements, access control, and classified material handling.
  • Ability to conduct security training, briefings, and self-inspections.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, highly secure environment.
  • CISSP, Security+ or NISPOM FSO Certification (highly preferred).
  • Experience with Insider Threat Programs and Cybersecurity Compliance (NIST 800-171, RMF, CMMC).
  • Previous experience in a defense or government contracting environment.
What We Offer:
Salary Range - $120,000 – 150,000 -

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
