Job summary

Benefis Health System is seeking a dedicated security professional to maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors, employees, and staff. You will patrol premises, respond to incidents, and assist during emergencies while ensuring HIPAA-compliant confidentiality and policy enforcement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Current Montana Private Security Guard License required.
• Previous security, law enforcement, military, healthcare security or related experience preferred.
• Valid MT driver’s license required.
• Ability to respond quickly to emergency situations and assist with disruptive or combative individuals when necessary.
• Ability to de-escalate tense situations safely and professionally.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, employees, medical staff, and hospital property.
• Monitor hospital premises, patrol assigned areas, respond to security incidents, and assist during emergencies.
• Enforce hospital policies and procedures while providing excellent customer service.
• Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and hospital policies.

Demonstrates the ability to deal with a variety of people, deal with stressful situations, and handle conflict. Will perform all job duties or job tasks as assigned. Will follow and adhere to all requirements, regulations and procedures of any licensing board or agency. Must comply with all Benefis Health System’s organization policies and procedures.

Starting Wage $22.13/hourly Actual offered wage is based on applicable experience
