Job summary

First Duty Staffing and Security (FDSS) is seeking experienced Security Guards for a client site in Centerville. A valid Maryland Guard Card and a minimum of two years of security experience are required. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, dependable performance, and strong communication.

Pay ranges from $16.50 to $18.00 per hour. Shifts include Full-Time or Part-Time Day shifts. Candidates must pass a background check and drug screen and have a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Must have two or more years of security experience.
• Valid Maryland Guard Card is required.
• Background check and drug screen must be passed.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct facility entrance screening to ensure security protocol compliance.
• Greet and direct visitors and vendors as applicable.
• Perform security watch to maintain a vigilant presence.
• Observe and report unlawful or inappropriate activity per post orders.
• Manage emergencies and report as appropriate.
• Maintain documentation of security tours and incident reports.
