Job summary

The GEO Group is seeking a full-time Monitor for GEO Reentry Services LLC in Beaumont, TX. The role focuses on facility security, resident management, and compliance with agency requirements, reporting to supervisors and adhering to safety and operational policies.

You will perform routine counts, conduct patrols, and document incidents while coordinating with staff to maintain security and order within the facility. Prior security experience and a valid driver's license are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required
• One year of general work experience preferred
• Must hold a current and active driver’s license
• Good organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Maintain alertness to control and secure the facility and residents
• Prepare shift documentation (end of shift reports, work orders, security reports)
• Conduct facility counts and patrols to ensure security and safety
• Assist in supervising resident work details to maintain cleanliness
• Conduct urinalysis testing, pat downs, shakedowns, counts, breath tests as needed
• Document disciplinary actions and log activities
• Greet visitors and verify identities, assist government officials
• Communicate professionally with residents and staff to maintain rapport
• Attend staff meetings and contribute observations for problem resolution
