Job summary

Allen Distribution in Seattle is seeking a sanitation team member to keep a clean and safe facility for our operations. This full-time role on the 1st shift runs from 6:00am to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed.

The position offers $21.00 per hour and requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, perform tasks in a fast-paced environment, and obtain/maintain a forklift license.

Qualifications

• Able to obtain and maintain forklift license.
• Able to lift 50 lbs., sit, stand and walk for extended periods.
• Able to work in a non-climate controlled environment.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum and clean lights and replace bulbs.
• Empty trash daily in all areas of the building.
• Inspect refrigerators for spills and clean with hot soapy water.
• Remove spider webs around forklift areas, racking and perimeters.
• Vacuum carpet areas.
• Sweep and pick up wood chips, strapping, shrink wrap, etc. from warehouse floor.
• Dust dock doors and clean dock lights.
• Maintain clean windows and mirrors.
• Follow established Dock Safety practices.
