Airswift is seeking a Facility Project Controls Analyst in The Woodlands, TX. The role requires strong expertise in cost control, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and earned value management within upstream or midstream projects.

Hybrid work arrangement supports collaboration with engineering, accounting, construction and contractors. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree, 5+ years in capital projects, advanced Primavera P6, Prism, and solid MS Office skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Five or more years of relevant experience in capital projects.
  • Experience in schedule and cost control across project life cycle.
  • Experience preparing project/cost reports, forecasts, EACs, variances, accruals, reforecasts.
  • Experience with project managers, engineering, accounting, construction, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Contractor performance review during selection processes.
  • Advanced Primavera P6 capability and proficiency with Prism.

Responsibilities

  • Support upstream or midstream capital projects across all lifecycle phases.
  • Prepare project and program cost reports, track construction costs, forecasts, and reforecasts.
  • Develop work breakdown structures and cost breakdown structures from project scope.
  • Create, maintain and distribute routine and ad hoc project reporting.

Job description

Job Title: Facility Project Controls Analyst Duration: 12 months Schedule: 9 hours Monday–Thursday and 4 hours Friday Location: The Woodlands, Texas, US (Hybrid)

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Five or more years of relevant experience supporting upstream or midstream capital projects, or other industrial construction capital projects
  • Experience supporting schedule and cost control activities across all phases of the project life cycle
  • Experience preparing project and program cost reports, tracking construction costs, forecasts, EACs, variances, accruals, and reforecasts
  • Experience working with project managers, engineering teams, accounting teams, construction teams, contractors, and other project stakeholders
  • Experience in contractor performance review and support during contractor selection processes
  • Advanced Primavera P6 capability
  • Proficient in Prism
  • Strong project controls expertise in cost control, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Competency in earned value management
  • Ability to develop work breakdown structures and cost breakdown structures based on project scope
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present analysis findings and recovery plans clearly to management
  • Excellent attention to detail and data integrity
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to create, maintain, and distribute routine and ad hoc project reporting
Required Certifications
  • Valid driver’s licence with no restrictions that would prohibit driving a company vehicle
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with SAP
  • Fundamental knowledge of production, compression, pumping, treating, processing, produced water disposal facilities, and pipeline infrastructure
  • Understanding of industry safety principles and their application at a construction location
