Job description

Job Description

Assist with hiring, supervising and evaluating staff. Assist Recreation Supervisor with staff training, scheduling, payroll, budgeting, inventory control and event programming. Under the direction of the Recreation Supervisor, supervise and inspect facilities.

Principal Duties
  • Meet and greet the public and serve customers.
  • Assist with the supervision of the Division’s cost center.
  • Analyze and work with records, reports and budgets.
  • Assist in all aspects of personnel management including hiring, evaluation, training and scheduling.
  • Assist in inventory control and facility inspection.
  • Assist with the coordination and administration of programs, events and registrations.
  • Work with the application of chemicals and other toxic agents, when applicable.
  • Assist in emergency response.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Available to work weekends and evenings.
  • Ability to work with only general direction and with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
