Job summary

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, coordinating with outside contractors, and supporting the facility's infrastructure with troubleshooting and repairs as needed. Requires Louisiana Journeyman Plumber license and trade school training; 2 years of relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Trade school training in plumbing/pipe fitting.
• 2 years commercial/industrial plumbing experience incl. schematics/blueprints.
• Current Louisiana Journeyman Plumbers License in state of practice.
• Medical Gas and Back-Flow Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repair and install plumbing systems: water, sewer, steam, air, medical gas, vacuum, fire protection.
• Perform Preventative Maintenance on plumbing components per procedures.
• Assist outside contractors with outages during major utility repairs/new construction.
• Assist Facilities Management with troubleshooting/repairing equipment related to facility infrastructure.
• Other duties as required.
