Echelon Care and Rehab Center in Voorhees Township, NJ is seeking a Painting and Maintenance Technician to prepare surfaces, apply protective coatings, and operate spray equipment to deliver high-quality finishes throughout the facility. You will also perform general maintenance to keep the building and grounds clean, safe, and well-maintained.

The role requires attention to detail, good color-matching skills, and the ability to work with team members and maintenance leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with surface preparation, professional coating application, and spray equipment operation.
• Basic knowledge of general facility maintenance, including basic wiring, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Must be able to read, write, and understand the English language.

Responsibilities

• Surface Prep: Clean, sand, tape, mask, and prime surfaces, walls, ceilings, and structures to ensure optimal coating adhesion.
• Mixing and Matching: Mix chemical compounds and paint formulas accurately to match target colors and precise ratios.
• Application: Use spray guns, rollers, brushes, or specialized equipment to apply uniform, high-quality coats of paint, varnish, or protective sealants.
• Inspection and Maintenance: Check finished surfaces for runs, bubbles, or defects and touch up as needed; clean spray equipment, tools, and booths, disposing of hazardous materials safely and properly.
