Are you ready to create your career path? Bring your desire to learn and an operational mindset to the Entry level Facility Operator Program (FOP). The program includes 12 to 16 weeks of classroom, online, and on-the-job training with Reworld, a leading sustainable materials management company.
Upon completing the program, participants are prepared for an Auxiliary Operator position at the Waste to Energy Facility in Alexandria, VA, with potential opportunities to relocate within the South region depending on role openings.
The FOP combines classroom instruction, computer-based training, and hands-on experience supervised by a field trainer and/or shift supervisor. You will learn about Waste to Energy processes, system layouts, components, and theoretical knowledge. After initial training, you will perform on-the-job training in operation and inspection of power plant systems, including boilers and related equipment, operating 24/7 to ensure plant safety and efficiency.
