The Bureau of Prisons is seeking corrections professionals to foster a humane and secure environment and ensure public safety by preparing individuals for successful reentry into our communities.
This position requires education in engineering/related fields or specialized maintenance experience, with at least one year of qualified experience and proper assessment of education versus experience.

You must have at least one year of specialized experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level.
