Job summary

Alden Town Manor Rehabilitation and Health Care Center is seeking an experienced Maintenance leader to direct and coordinate the long-term care facility's maintenance operations. You will ensure safe, compliant environments by overseeing safety programs, inspections, and preventative maintenance across the facility.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of all phases of building maintenance.
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs, safety, equipment maintenance, and training.
• Experience estimating maintenance and repair costs.
• Knowledge of long-term care industry regulations.

Responsibilities

• Facility safety standards must be developed, met, and maintained per policy and law.
• Arrange and coordinate fire safety inspections and address deficiencies.
• Schedule and manage internal safety inspections and corrective actions.
• Coordinate, supervise, and provide for corrective and preventive maintenance.
• Plan ongoing work schedules for a safe, healthy environment.
• Develop and control a preventative maintenance program for plant operations.
• Evaluate long-term needs for major projects and improvements.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and coordinate repairs or replacements.
• Provide safety and maintenance training to personnel and residents.
• Attend department meetings and liaise with construction teams and contractors.
