Job summary

Navigator Development Group Inc. seeks a Facility Operations Manager to lead daily facility management and operations at Army training centers in the Fort Bragg area.

The role requires coordination of maintenance, security, and safety programs, and ensuring compliance with DPW procedures. The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree, plus two years in facility management or two years supervision in related settings, with active SECRET clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; substitution of 10 years SF experience allowed.
• Two years of experience in facility management and operations at Army Mission Command Training Center/Complex.
• Two years supervision of maintenance, security, and safety of facilities.
• Experience DPW repair/upgrade training and procedures.
• DISS training and certified Project Manager preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facility management and operations at Army training centers.
• Ensure maintenance, security, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with DPW for services, work orders, and repairs.
• Lead projects, manage key controls and fire marshal functions.
• Maintain interpersonal communication and coordination with stakeholders.

Minimum Education Requirement

• Bachelor's degree.
• Ten years of Special Forces experience may substitute for academic degrees.

Special Skills/Qualifications Required

• Two years of experience in facility management, and operations of Army Mission Command Training Center/Complex.

Minimal Background/Experience Required

• Two years of experience in supervision of maintenance, security, and safety of facilities.
• S. Army Directorate of Public Works (DPW) Repair and Upgrade (R&U) training and experience.
• Experience performing humidity/air conditioning and controls checks.
• Experience submitting and tracking DPW services or work orders for AC/heat, plumbing, electrical, etc. with emphasis on Army Directorate of Public Works (DPW) regulation and procedures.

Additional Desired Qualifications/Experience

• Certified Project Manager.
• Experience performing key control and fire marshal functions.
• Defense Information Systems for Security (DISS) training.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, attention to details, and project coordination.
• Four years' experience as a senior supervisor, two years of management and operations experience of a Training Center or Complex (MTC, NTC, JRTC, etc.).
