Job summary

You will operate and maintain equipment, assist with warehouse tasks, and help ensure smooth wholesale/retail operations during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Must pass DOT physical and drug test.
• Minnesota Commercial Pesticide Applicator License (Category A) or ability to obtain after hire.
• Ability to operate tractors, semis, grain trucks, loaders, and conveyors.
• Availability to work extended hours during peak seasons.
• Computer and data entry skills.
• Ability to follow directions and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to apply chemical and fertilizer to farm fields.
• Perform maintenance of machinery and equipment.
• Deliver fertilizer, chemical, water, and anhydrous to operators.
• Fill anhydrous tanks.
• Assist with chemical and seed warehouse activities.
• Maintain accurate records of facility upkeep, housekeeping, and routine safety inspections.
• Assist wholesale and retail customers by processing orders, loading products, and ensuring accurate and timely service.
• Receive, inspect, and dispatch incoming and outgoing products accurately.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, facilities, and grounds to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Primary Objectives of the Position:

Support the daily operations of the cooperative's agronomy department by safely applying crop inputs, delivering products, operating and maintaining equipment, and assisting with warehouse, wholesale, and retail operations. This position provides quality service to member-owners and customers while ensuring safe, efficient, and accurate operations through teamwork, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.

Requirements
