Katmai seeks a Facility Manager to provide hands-on coordination and admin support for Liberty Barracks and the Soldier Recovery Unit S4. You will conduct inspections, track maintenance requests, coordinate contractors, maintain occupancy records, and ensure safety and functionality of barracks.
The role requires experience with Excel/Teams, ability to lift 50 pounds, and clear English. You will prepare reports, manage room assignments, and support VIP visits.
Provides hands-on facility coordination and administrative support for Liberty Barracks and the Soldier Recovery Unit S4 Section in support of Soldiers in Transition, military personnel, Nonmedical Attendants, and Civil Service personnel. The Facility Manager conducts facility and room inspections, submits and tracks maintenance requests, coordinates access for contractors and Civil Engineering personnel, maintains occupancy and facility records, supports room assignments, and performs cleaning and other operational tasks necessary to maintain the safety and functionality of the barracks.
Ability to coordinate facility services and communicate with contractors, Civil Engineering personnel, unit staff, leadership, and internal and external agencies.
Ability to prepare, submit, track, and follow up on work orders and service requests.
Ability to maintain accurate facility, occupancy, room assignment, key, maintenance, inspection, and tasking records.
Ability to collect information and prepare reports, rosters, presentation slides, and other facility-management materials.
Ability to review and assign rooms, process intake paperwork, and conduct room inspections and occupant walkthroughs.
Ability to maintain facility security cameras and keys and report identified deficiencies to the appropriate personnel.
Familiarity with or ability to learn/use other technology management tools employed in the work environment.
Excellent responsiveness and customer service skills.
Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high visibility environment with relative autonomy.
Ability to manage work environment and workload with minimum supervision, based on knowledge of work priorities.
Ability to set and achieve goals, working successfully as an individual contributor or as part of a team.
Ability to work well under pressure and within established guidelines.
40 hours per week. May be required to work additional hours as needed to complete assignment or project.
Work is primarily performed in a professional office setting, including the normal office equipment (e.g., computer, fax machines, copier) and with a wide variety of people in differing functions, personalities, and abilities.
Personnel must be able to stand on hard surfaces for extended period of time; bending, stooping, and working in sometimes uncomfortable positions. Personnel must be able to lift and carry items that weigh up to 50 pounds, and/or maneuvering, pushing or sliding items for proper positioning. Frequently uses hands/fingers for manipulation of keyboard and mouse. Base Rate: Per the wage determination
Health & Welfare Fringe: $5.09 per hour up to 40 hours
