Job summary

Target is hiring a Facility Attendant 1 to support the Distribution Center by performing maintenance tasks, operating hand and power tools, and assisting with equipment installation and repairs. The role requires following safety procedures, using PPE, and recording work orders daily.

You will work with maintenance technicians, handle battery care for PIT equipment, and help keep the facility clean and organized to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Possesses and maintains a valid driver’s license for state employment.
• Able to read and comprehend labels, tickets, instructions, etc.
• Able to work with minimal supervision and self-motivate.
• Able to use maintenance tools such as saws and drills.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical preventive and corrective maintenance with the facility.
• Operate hand and power tools including drills, saws, sanders, grinders, and welders.
• Change PIT batteries and maintain battery records.
• Assist in installation/removal of equipment and maintain housekeeping of the facility.
• Complete paperwork and create work orders with labor hours and parts used.
