Ozarks Technical Community College is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician I to join the Facilities & Grounds team at the Springfield campus. This hands-on role performs skilled trades including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and other maintenance tasks to keep college facilities in good repair.
The position is full-time, 12-month, with a salary of $40,560 and non-exempt status. The role requires adhering to safety policies, operating tools and equipment, and occasional after-hours work

This hands-on general maintenance role will perform skilled trade tasks to assist in maintaining facilities, (i.e., plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, furniture moving and snow removal). Schedule and perform routine maintenance, repairs, and renovations as needed.
Physical: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard.
