Insures a clean sanitary environment for all program participants and staff. Carries out the day-to-day cleaning, minor repairs as assigned, and major unit cleaning on a continuous rotating basis. Works independently or with a work group as established to accomplish assigned tasks. Works to the high standards of professionalism expected from all department employees.

QUALITY OF LIFE EXPECTATION FOR ALL STAFF:
To actively further the agency's mission to optimize quality of life (QofL) for individuals served by monitoring and implementing systems that promote the QofL of the individuals in our care.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs assigned cleaning tasks efficiently and in a professional, workmanlike manner.
  • Performs minor maintenance work as assigned.
  • Represents the department in a positive manner at all times.
  • Participation in seasonal on-call snow & ice removal.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • sufficient experience to effectively perform the functions of the position.
