Job summary

Enwork is seeking an experienced 1st shift Facility Maintenance Technician to support a fast-growing contract furniture manufacturer in the United States. The role focuses on preventative maintenance of production machines and forklifts, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating vendor services.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on facility maintenance experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Prior facility maintenance experience.
• Quality craftsmanship.
• Exceptional problem solving skills.
• Teamwork mentality to drive continuous improvement.
• Willing to support weekend production issues (as needed).
• Be a licensed forklift and scissor lift operator.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently.
• Ability to stand, bend, twist and reach throughout the entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages the preventative maintenance system of production machines and forklifts.
• Troubleshoots equipment issues.
• Possess a general understanding of electrical and plumbing.
• Perform routine facility maintenance
• Manages vendors for: sprinkler systems, lawn care, snow removal, fire protection, and quarterly well testing.
• Participate as a member of the safety committee and complete maintenance requirements.
