Position Summary

The primary location of this position is on-site in Cullowhee, NC.

Provide needed trade capability for the maintenance, repair, alteration, or construction of structural building components. Additional responsibilities include maintenance, repair and installation of facilities hardware components. This position is performing at advanced-level in at least one of the following trades: carpentry, cabinet making, roofing, concrete, masonry, and building hardware; such as window and door locks, hinges, and other related components. The scope of this position overlaps into the areas usually associated with construction: drywall or wall covering, ceiling installation, floor coverings, and trim work.

Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required for this Position

Knowledge of standard procedures and practices associated with construction and building reparations including carpentry, masonry, roofing materials and cabinet making trades. Skilled in use of hand tools, ability to read and work from blueprints and working drawings or sketches.
