Job summary

Amentum in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Facility Maintenance Custodian under general supervision to clean, maintain and organize designated areas in office buildings and related spaces. Responsibilities include trash removal, sweeping, mopping, dusting, washing, waxing, and basic maintenance to keep facilities safe and functional.

You will perform light repairs on plumbing, carpentry, painting, replace air filters, manage cleaning supplies inventory, and assist with meeting setup.

Qualifications

• Two years custodial experience with cleaning solvents and equipment.
• One+ year light maintenance and repairs as listed in duties.
• Proficient with hand tools and light power tools.
• Maintain inventory stock of cleaning supplies and parts.
• Possess a valid state driver’s license and eligibility for a US government clearance.
• US citizenship required for clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain offices, hallways, storage areas, restrooms, and related spaces to keep them orderly.
• Perform minor repairs (plumbing, carpentry, painting, filter changes) and operate custodial equipment.
• Prepare spaces for meetings; set up tables, desks, chairs, and food/drink areas as needed.
• Ensure adequate supplies inventory and assist with equipment transport as required.
