Job summary

Harkins Theatres is seeking a Facility Technician to perform preventative and routine maintenance for assigned buildings. You will repair concession equipment, seating, lighting, HVAC, and plumbing while ensuring safety and high standards.

The role involves regular travel between theatre locations and requires lifting up to 75 pounds. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED with 3+ years in relevant trades; trade certification or college degree is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 3+ years in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, welding or related fields.
• Trade school certification or college degree preferred.
• Reads and interprets blueprints, manuals and schematics.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds; able to travel between locations.

Responsibilities

• Performs on-site repair and maintenance of assigned facilities.
• Provides preventative maintenance and repairs for concession equipment, auditorium seating, lighting, HVAC, minor electrical, plumbing, etc.
• Conducts safety observations and notifies management of hazards.
• Travel between designated company locations daily and perform occasional overnight travel.
• Records work, mileage and expenses using computer-based programs.
