Facility Maintenance Manager - Mankato, MN

Position Summary: The Maintenance Manager has overall responsibility for the material condition of the facility locations and all assets. This dual reporting role involves reporting to the Complex Manager for daily operations and liaising with the RCM Regional Manager for technical direction and asset strategy. The goal is to maximize equipment uptime, minimize maintenance costs, and manage expenditures related to equipment, spare parts, and consumables. The Maintenance Manager supports plant production by providing high-quality repair and maintenance services to meet production goals. Key activities include: supporting Operational Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), implementing continuous improvement techniques, proactive and precision maintenance, planning and scheduling, contractor and vendor management, and training and development.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Ensure all employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors understand and comply with safety policies and procedures.
2. Set goals and expectations for the maintenance team.
3. Support Performance Excellence activities within the facility.
4. Assist in safety and quality support for production departments, including audit compliance.
5. Implement and execute the ADM Maintenance and Reliability strategy.
6. Maintain production equipment to function as designed or expected.
7. Manage preventative maintenance and reliability activities.
8. Develop and manage maintenance budgets and R&M spending with plant leadership and RCM CoE.
9. Support Reliability Centered Maintenance initiatives to implement proactive maintenance measures.
10. Lead root-cause analysis processes for failures and develop countermeasures.
11. Analyze maintenance and reliability metrics to evaluate performance.
12. Train operations personnel on equipment operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance procedures.
13. Manage spare parts inventory to ensure availability.
14. Coordinate maintenance work with production schedules.
15. Ensure all maintenance work is documented using a CMMS.
16. Oversee ongoing maintenance and reliability projects.
17. Manage and develop personnel, including recruiting, retention, and engagement.
18. Identify training needs and facilitate technical and safety training sessions.
19. Coach maintenance employees to reach their full potential with effective feedback.
20. Support maintenance team initiatives and new programs aligned with the COE.
21. Lead the maintenance staff in establishing standards and coordinating outages.
