Job summary

Ben E. Keith Company is seeking a Facility Maintenance Manager to schedule, supervise, and monitor the work of warehouse maintenance staff and contractors. This role ensures proper repair and maintenance of equipment and facilities across BEK operations.

You will lead teams, enforce policies, manage maintenance documentation, and control costs within budget guidelines. The position requires ammonia refrigeration experience, knowledge of OSHA standards, and strong leadership and communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent facility management/maintenance experience.
• Experience with budget management and material/cost estimates.
• Ammonia refrigeration experience is required.
• Experience with multiple types of maintenance equipment is required.
• Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and related codes.
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train and manage assigned personnel to ensure the efficient upkeep of BEK facilities.
• Implement appropriate policies and procedures to ensure compliance with BEK operational objectives and regulatory guidelines.
• Manage maintenance activities and keep organized documentation of all maintenance and repairs performed on BEK equipment and facilities to ensure maintenance guidelines are met and maintained.
• Monitor expenditures to minimize costs and effectively manage budgetary guidelines.
• Provide performance feedback to personnel.

• Food industry and/or manufacturing experience preferred
• Ammonia refrigeration experience required
• Experience with budget management and material/cost estimates
