Job summary

Ben E. Keith Company is seeking a Facility Maintenance Manager to supervise and monitor warehouse maintenance staff and contractors, ensuring timely repairs and upkeep of equipment and facilities at BEK locations in Texas.

The role emphasizes leadership, budgeting, and regulatory compliance, including OSHA guidelines, hazardous materials handling, and multi-tasking across maintenance projects. A strong background in food manufacturing is preferred for this on-site position.

Qualifications

• Food industry/manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ammonia refrigeration experience required.

• Knowledge of hazardous materials and environmental regulations.
• Leadership skills; ability to train and lead personnel.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train and manage assigned personnel to ensure the efficient upkeep of BEK facilities.
• Implement appropriate policies and procedures to ensure compliance with BEK operational objectives and regulatory guidelines.
• Manage maintenance activities and keep organized documentation of all maintenance and repairs performed on BEK equipment and facilities to ensure maintenance guidelines are met and maintained.
• Monitor expenditures to minimize costs and effectively manage budgetary guidelines.
• Provide performance feedback to personnel.
