Job summary

Centex Rotomolding in Bryan, TX seeks a Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance department. You will manage day-to-day activities, train staff on equipment and systems, and ensure PMs and SOPs are current.

You will respond to outages and emergencies, coordinate with engineers and contractors, and drive KPI performance while maintaining a safe work environment. The role requires 5 years of maintenance experience and 3 years in supervision, plus a valid driver’s license and ability to pass

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day maintenance operations across facilities and equipment.
• Evaluate, develop, schedule, and conduct training for maintenance staff on equipment/systems; update SOPs and PMs as needed.
• Respond to outages and plant-wide emergencies; support facilities, utilities, and equipment needs.
• Ensure accurate documentation of maintenance activities (PMs, CM, emergency work orders).
• Communicate with internal teams, contractors, QA, operations, and OEMs for effective maintenance management.
• Direct and supervise specialized contractors to meet facility and equipment requirements.
• Develop, implement, and monitor KPIs to ensure high efficiency and safety; enforce safety guidelines.

Business Title: Maintenance Manager – Centex RotomoldingPosition Type: Full-TimeJob Location: Bryan, TXSupervisor: Director of OperationsGeneral Summary:Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department within Centex Rotomolding. Able to handle multiple priorities quickly and efficiently and delegate tasks to appropriate trades and skill levels.Responsible for evaluating, developing, scheduling and/or conducting training to facilities, utilities and/or maintenance personnel about new or existing equipment/systems and ensure such training is reflected in current SOPs and other procedures (PMs, Calibrations, etc.) as required.Responsible to respond and support outages and plant-wide emergencies.Responsible to support facilities, utilities, and equipment.Ensure accurate documentation of maintenance activities such as PM, CM and emergency work orders.Maintain regular communication with production and support area counterparts to ensure planned maintenance activities are executed effectively and any issues are addressed promptly.Communicate effectively with Contractors, Quality Assurance, Operations, Engineers, OEM providers, as well as internal equipment owners and operators, for successful management of the maintenance department.Able to work with engineers and contractors in directing and providing oversight of specialized contractors to ensure facility and equipment are delivered and/or maintained as prescribed.Develop, implement, maintain, and monitor departmental KPIs to ensure a high level of efficiency.Responsible for all maintenance SOPs and PMs.Ensure a safe work environment is maintained through adherence and compliance with safety guidelines, policies, and site procedures.Demonstrate continuous personal pursuit to increasing job knowledge, proficiency in technical understanding, and problem-solving abilities.Maintain a positive, professional, and customer-oriented attitude.All other duties as needed.Required Qualifications:5 Years of experience in maintenance.3 Years of supervisory experience.Other Requirements:Must have a valid Driver's License.Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and random drug testing during the duration of employment.Physical Requirements:Ability to work outdoors/enclosed warehouse environment exposed to various weather conditions, potential allergens, elevated noise levels, cold, and heat.Ability to move up to 50 lbs. with or without accommodation.Ability to walk, stand and/or sit for long periods.Ability to quickly traverse manufacturing areas.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.Ability to set long-term goals and communicate them with others.Basic welding and metal working knowledge.Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.Excellent organizational skills.Must have the availability to respond to any emergency type situation that may require off hours orweekend support.This position will require the completion of a Non-Disclosure Agreement between the employee and the company.
