As we continue to scale our global platform, the Facilities Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the operational integrity of Fanatics Commerce's Fulfillment and Manufacturing Centers.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Facilities Manager is critical to the smooth operation of Fanatics Commerce's Fulfillment and Manufacturing Centers, with full accountability for the proper operation and maintenance of the facility, automation equipment, manufacturing equipment, material handling assets, housekeeping, and grounds. Reporting to the Regional Facilities and Maintenance Manager, this role functions as a strategic partner to the Operations Team — analyzing trends, resolving operational challenges, and maximizing site success through hands‑on leadership of the Facilities Technician team. The Facilities Manager delivers business and fan impact through BOLD leadership and execution excellence, leveraging data, automation, and AI-enabled insights.

HOW WILL YOU DRIVE IMPACT

Success is measured by the ability to deliver results through BOLD capabilities and measurable outcomes.

Team & Leadership Impact (Build Championship Teams)

Cross‑Functional Leadership:

  • Serve as a key member of the site Safety Committee and attend daily Production meetings, providing system performance and downtime reporting to Site Leadership.
  • Partner with Operations leadership and the Sr. Director of Facilities on capital project planning, budgeting, and execution, and act as the subject matter expert on all facilities‑related matters.
  • Coordinate and manage vendors, contractors, and external business partners to ensure timely, high‑quality delivery of facilities services.
  • Lead full‑cycle people management for Facilities Technicians, including hiring, onboarding, training, development, performance evaluations, coaching, corrective action, and recommendations for promotions or separations.
  • Provide daily work assignments to the Facilities team and conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to department and company standards, operating procedures, and safety requirements.

Fan & Customer Impact (Obsessed with Fans)

  • Ensure maximum equipment availability and facility readiness to support uninterrupted fulfillment and manufacturing operations that directly power the fan experience.
  • Manage P&L responsibility for Repairs and Maintenance, Equipment Rentals, and Waste Disposals, making cost‑conscious decisions that sustain operational excellence.
  • Ensure timely completion of Work Orders, Repairs, Preventative Maintenance, and Records Retention in accordance with company procedures and standards, minimizing disruption to downstream fan‑facing operations.
  • Model and foster a positive, inclusive working culture that supports team engagement and the consistent delivery of high‑quality outcomes for fans.

Innovation & Problem Solving (Limitless Entrepreneurial Spirit)

  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical systems using technical drawings — including blueprints and electrical/mechanical schematics — and diagnostic tools to drive rapid, effective resolution of equipment issues.
  • Oversee troubleshooting and repair of Motor Control equipment including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), Soft Starts, Servo Drives, and Input/Output (I/O) devices.
  • Analyze operational trends and proactively identify opportunities to improve facility performance, equipment reliability, and site efficiency in partnership with the Operations Team.
  • Support capital project planning by bringing facilities expertise to site needs assessments, vendor selection, and project execution to deliver scalable infrastructure improvements.

Ownership & Execution (Determined & Relentless Mindset)

  • Oversee the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all Material Handling Equipment, Building and Grounds, Industrial Trucks, and Manufacturing Equipment at the site.
  • Make real‑time decisions regarding daily facilities support, equipment availability, and safety‑related needs in close partnership with Operations leadership.
  • Manage through facility‑related emergencies with professionalism and urgency, ensuring business continuity and associate safety at all times.
  • Adhere to and enforce all company standards, operating procedures, and safety requirements, including flexible scheduling to ensure business needs are consistently met.

We are building a future‑ready organization. This role is expected to:

  • Apply AI and technology to improve efficiency, quality, and outcomes
  • Use data and digital tools to inform decisions and enhance performance
  • Demonstrate curiosity and adaptability in adopting new technologies and ways of working
  • Contribute to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
CAPABILITIES & EXPERIENCE YOU BRING

Required Qualifications:

  • Advanced skills and demonstrated ability in Material Handling Automation, Manufacturing Systems, and Electrical, Mechanical, and Pneumatic Systems.
  • Proven experience diagnosing and repairing Motor Control equipment including PLCs, VFDs, Soft Starts, Servo Drives, and I/O devices, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings such as blueprints and electrical/mechanical schematics.
  • Experience managing a facilities or maintenance team, including hiring, training, performance management, and development of technicians.
  • Demonstrated P&L accountability for Repairs and Maintenance, Equipment Rentals, or Waste Disposal budgets, with the ability to manage costs while maintaining operational standards.
  • Strong project management capability with experience supporting or leading capital projects from planning through execution, including vendor and contractor coordination.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast‑paced fulfillment or manufacturing environment.
