As we continue to scale our global platform, the Product Developer will play a critical role in leading new product development from concept through commercialization and production launch.

ROLE OVERVIEW

Under the general direction of the Director Supply Chain, the Product Developer serves as the primary cross-functional project lead for product development initiatives, coordinating efforts across Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Sourcing, Compliance, Operations, Engineering, and external suppliers to successfully bring products from concept through commercialization. This position combines product development, sourcing coordination, commercialization planning, and project management responsibilities to support profitable and operationally executable product launches, ensuring new products align with customer expectations, manufacturing capabilities, compliance requirements, operational timelines, and financial objectives. The Product Developer delivers business and fan impact through BOLD leadership and execution excellence, leveraging data, automation, and AI-enabled insights.

Team & Leadership Impact (Build Championship Teams)

  • Coordinate cross-functional product development activities between Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Compliance, Engineering, Operations, and external suppliers to ensure aligned and on-time execution.
  • Support supplier communication and coordination related to prototypes, costing, sampling, specifications, production capabilities, lead times, and commercialization readiness.
  • Assist with the development and standardization of product development processes, templates, specifications, and project documentation to strengthen team-wide consistency and efficiency.

Fan & Customer Impact (Obsessed with Fans)

  • Use customer insights, market analysis, trend evaluation, and competitive research to identify product opportunities and support strategic recommendations that meet fan expectations.
  • Coordinate prototype development, product revisions, sample evaluations, testing requirements, and commercialization approvals to ensure products are launch-ready and fan-relevant.
  • Ensure product specifications, artwork requirements, packaging details, and manufacturing requirements are clearly documented and communicated to deliver a consistent and high-quality fan experience.
  • Collaborate with Compliance and Quality teams to ensure products meet applicable testing, regulatory, customer, and safety requirements prior to production release.

Innovation & Problem Solving (Limitless Entrepreneurial Spirit)

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to product development workflow, supplier collaboration, sourcing execution, and commercialization processes.
  • Identify and evaluate sourcing feasibility, supplier capabilities, and production alternatives to address development challenges and optimize product outcomes.
  • Apply trend evaluation and competitive research to surface new product opportunities and inform innovation within the portfolio.
  • Analyze product costs, timelines, operational requirements, and commercialization risks to proactively surface solutions and support sound decision-making.

  • Develop and manage product development timelines, milestone tracking, commercialization schedules, and launch readiness activities with strong attention to detail and process discipline.
  • Partner with Procurement and Supply Chain teams to support product costing analysis, margin targets, inventory strategies, MOQ evaluations, and operational execution plans.
  • Support operational readiness activities including sourcing transitions, production planning alignment, lead time management, packaging approvals, and launch execution.
  • Track and communicate project status, risks, timeline changes, and commercialization updates to stakeholders and leadership with consistent follow-through and accountability.

CAPABILITIES & EXPERIENCE YOU BRING

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in Product Development, Procurement, Supply Chain, Sourcing, or related business functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional projects and commercialization timelines, with experience coordinating across Sales, Marketing, Operations, and external suppliers.
  • Experience working with suppliers, manufacturing processes, sourcing activities, or consumer products, with the ability to evaluate production capabilities, lead times, and costing.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, including milestone tracking, risk identification, and timeline management.
  • Working knowledge of product costing, inventory strategies, MOQ evaluations, lead time management, and supply chain concepts.
  • Strong communication, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities, including the capacity to clearly document and communicate product specifications and commercialization requirements.
  • Proficient computer and Excel skills required; self-motivated with strong follow-through, attention to detail, and accountability.

Education:

Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Supply Chain, Product Development, Engineering, Marketing, or related field, or any combination of experience, education, or training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

The salary range represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation.
