Job summary

Central Transport is seeking a Facility Maintenance lead and crew members for our Detroit, MI facility with travel to regional locations. You will perform hands-on maintenance across welding, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, roofing and fencing to ensure safe, reliable operations.

Ideal candidates have 2-3 years in two or more skills, a willingness to travel 5–10 days per trip, and a commitment to safety and efficiency. Compensation includes up to $35/hour plus travel perks.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in any combination of two or more listed skills.
• Ability to diagnose and repair welding, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, roofing, and fencing.
• Willingness to travel up to 5–10 days per trip.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair building systems across welding, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, roofing, and fencing.
• Travel to multiple facilities within an assigned region and maintain safety and quality standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance and respond to urgent maintenance needs.
