Job summary

Central Transport is seeking a Facility Maintenance lead and crew members. Based out of our Detroit, MI facility, the positions service other locations in the region.

The role requires 2-3 years of experience across trades such as welding, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, roofing, and gate/chain link work. Travel of 5–10 days per trip is expected, with $50/day per diem and mileage reimbursement per company policy.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in any combination of two or more of the skills above is preferred.
• Experience operating skid steer and attachments is a plus.
• Commercial garage door repair experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform facility maintenance across multiple sites within a geographic region.
• Travel to facilities as required; travel 5-10 days per trip.
• Utilize a range of trades to repair and maintain dock equipment, structures, and related systems.
