Job summary

Wedgewood Weddings is seeking a dependable Venue Maintenance Technician for part-time work in Lyons, Colorado. The role centers on day-to-day upkeep of our wedding venues to keep facilities safe, clean, and guest-ready.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in general maintenance and basic skills in painting, drywall, plumbing, carpentry, or electrical work. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and work indoors or outdoors in varying weather. Join a family-owned company growing coast to coast.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of general maintenance, handyman, construction, landscaping, or related experience.
• Basic knowledge of common maintenance tasks such as painting, drywall repair, plumbing, carpentry, or electrical repairs.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools safely.
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
• Able to prioritize tasks and work independently while also supporting the venue team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and general repairs throughout the venue.
• Complete basic repairs including painting, drywall patching, light plumbing, carpentry, and minor electrical work.
• Keep buildings, outdoor spaces, and common areas clean, safe, and well maintained.
• Assist with seasonal landscaping, including watering, trimming, weeding, and general grounds maintenance.
• Perform snow removal and ice mitigation during winter weather.
• Remove trash and debris from the property as needed.
• Assemble furniture, fixtures, or equipment when needed.
• Identify maintenance issues and report repairs that require outside vendors or specialized work.
• Follow all safety procedures and help maintain a safe environment for guests and team members.
• Assist with other maintenance projects as assigned by venue leadership.
