Job summary

Wedgewood Weddings seeks a dependable Venue Maintenance Technician for part-time work at our Phoenix venues. The role focuses on daily maintenance, repairs, and upkeep to keep spaces safe, clean, and guest-ready between events.

Ideal candidates have basic maintenance skills, comfort with hand and power tools, and the ability to work independently or with the team. The job includes indoor and outdoor duties, seasonal landscaping, and light construction tasks to support memorable celebrations.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of general maintenance, handyman, construction, landscaping, or related experience.
• Basic knowledge of maintenance tasks such as painting, drywall repair, plumbing, carpentry, or electrical repairs.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and general repairs throughout the venue.
• Complete basic repairs including painting, drywall patching, light plumbing, carpentry, and minor electrical work.
• Keep buildings, outdoor spaces, and common areas clean, safe, and well maintained.
• Assist with seasonal landscaping, including watering, trimming, weeding, and general grounds maintenance.
• Perform snow removal and ice mitigation during winter weather.
• Remove trash and debris from the property as needed.
• Assemble furniture, fixtures, or equipment when needed.
• Identify maintenance issues and report repairs that require outside vendors or specialized work.
• Follow all safety procedures and help maintain a safe environment for guests and team members.
• Assist with other maintenance projects as assigned by venue leadership.

Wedgewood Weddings is looking for a dependable, hands-on Venue Maintenance Technician to help keep our beautiful wedding venues looking their best. What We're Looking For

• At least 1 year of general maintenance, handyman, construction, landscaping, or related experience.
• Basic knowledge of common maintenance tasks such as painting, drywall repair, plumbing, carpentry, or electrical repairs.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools safely.
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
• Able to prioritize tasks and work independently while also supporting the venue team.
• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds and stand, bend, climb, and walk for extended periods.
