Job summary

Tier1usa in Las Vegas, Nevada, is looking for a skilled technician to install, maintain, and repair various facility systems, including electrical and mechanical equipment. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of related work experience and a valid driver's license with a clean record.

This role requires effective multi-tasking and the ability to work in extreme temperatures. Responsibilities include monitoring subcontractors, assisting with fleet maintenance, and performing other facility-related duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Technical school, advanced schooling, certification, or apprenticeship training desired.
• Demonstrated mechanical and handy repair aptitude.
• At least 5 years documented relatable work history.
• Knowledge of maintenance shop equipment.
• Ability to take instruction and work independently or as part of a team.
• Effective multi-tasking and time-management skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures; lift/push 75+ pounds occasionally, 50+ pounds frequently, 25+ pounds consistently; bend, stoop, reach, climb, twist repeatedly; stand/walk 8–12 hours per day.

• Monitor subcontractors to ensure work meets guidelines and guarantees.
• Work within departmental budget, knowing equipment, products, and priorities.
• Paint, tile, sheetrock, and clean dish machines, vents, traps & screens, and HVAC equipment; change filters, lightbulbs, and batteries.
• Assist with light mechanical duties related to fleet maintenance.
• Perform other duties as assigned related to facility maintenance.
