Job summary

Join our team at Dana Canada Corp. as an Industrial Maintenance Technician responsible for repairing and maintaining facility and production machinery and equipment.

You will support shift communications, preventative maintenance programs, and training duties while assisting in parts procurement and documentation. Qualifications

• Three years background in industrial electrical and/or mechanical maintenance with troubleshooting experience
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, new equipment installation, plumbing, and HVAC
• Troubleshooting knowledge with various automation and PLC controlled equipment such as Allen Bradley, GE Fanuc, and DirectLogic PLC’s. PLC programming experience a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Preventative maintenance experience necessary
• Strong computer skills preferred
• Willingness to work on any shift and to work overtime.
• Team orientated
• Familiarity (experience preferred) with the following: packaging operations and assembly operations

Skills

Physical Requirements

• Have the ability to occasionally sit, crawl, reach, twist, push, pull, grip, pinch, crouch/squat, forward bend, forward sit, forward stand, and climb stairs/ladders
• Have the ability to frequently stand and walk
• Have the ability to exert light lifting and carrying under 25 lbs up to 33% of the time

Education and Qualifications

A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required

• Three years background in industrial electrical and/or mechanical maintenance with troubleshooting experience
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, new equipment installation, plumbing, and HVAC

Troubleshooting knowledge with various automation and PLC controlled equipment such as Allen Bradley, GE Fanuc, and DirectLogic PLC’s. PLC programming experience a plus
