Job summary

Venture Solutions seeks a Facility Manager to oversee day-to-day cross dock and warehouse operations. You will lead a team across shifts and manage inbound/outbound flows with focus on on-time loading and safety.

You will coordinate with the materials group, maintain KPI decks and SOPs, and ensure quality standards. Bachelor’s in Logistics/Transportation or related field with 5 years automotive logistics is preferred; HS +10 years leadership may be considered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation, or business field with five years’ automotive logistics experience.
• High School Diploma/GED plus 10+ years in a leadership role may be considered.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
• Proficient with PC and computer networks.
• Strong communication and team supervision skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inbound/outbound logistics planning and ensure on-time delivery.
• Lead and develop cross-dock/warehouse team across shifts.
• Maintain SOPs and Work Instructions for customer programs.
• Coordinate with plant shipping departments and central customer service for late loads.
• Maintain and manage customer KPI deck for weekly, monthly and quarterly reviews.
• Ensure safety and quality guidelines are followed and enforced.
