CompHealth supports cardiology locum assignments with comprehensive credentialing, housing, travel, and malpractice coverage. The role involves hospital-based coverage: cath lab procedures, STEMI response, IABP placement, and potential weekend/after-hours shifts.

You will work with a dedicated recruiter who organizes details and provides access to a portal for assignment specifics and time entry.

Qualifications

• Board-certified cardiology physician with hospital-based experience.
• Ability to perform catheterizations, angioplasty, and stent placement.
• STEMI response readiness and critical care proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac catheterizations, angioplasty, and stent placements as required.
• Provide STEMI response and acute care within a hospital setting.
• Coordinate with the care team during ongoing coverage and credentialing.

• Mon - Fri: 8 am - 5 pm with weeknight and weekend call
• 3 - 5 caths per day on average
• Hospital setting
• STEMI response required
• Cardiac catheterizations, angioplasty, and stent placement required
• IABP placement required
• Device implants -- preferred
• Ongoing coverage potential -- 1 weekend/mo and 7 - 10 days every other month
• We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly
• We arrange complimentary housing and travel and comprehensive malpractice coverage
• We simplify the credentialing and privileging process
• Access to online portal for assignment details and time entry
