Weatherby Healthcare is recruiting for locum tenens coverage in Kansas. The role includes on-call shifts with clinic and elective case coverage, plus inpatient and outpatient duties with admissions and rounding.

Responsibilities span general and laparoscopic surgery, GI endoscopy, and preferred subspecialties such as chest wall, breast, and hand surgery, with ventilatory management as needed. Hospital privileges are required.

Responsabilidades

• On-call shifts: 10 per month with clinic and elective case coverage.
• Inpatient and outpatient coverage including admissions and rounding.
• General, laparoscopic, and GI endoscopy procedures as described.
• Preferred: chest wall, breast, hand surgery, ventilation management.

• 10 on-call shifts per month with clinic and elective case coverage


• 3 eight-hour clinic days per 10-day block


• Inpatient and outpatient required -- admissions and rounding included


• General surgery -- adult, pediatric, and trauma


• Laparoscopic surgery -- appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernioplasty


• GI endoscopy -- upper, lower, and sigmoidoscopy


• Preferred: chest wall, breast, hand surgery, ventilation management


• Hospital privileges required
