Job summary

OPCO Skilled Management in Las Cruces, NM is seeking a housekeeping and maintenance assistant to perform day-to-day activities in our facility, ensuring a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents. You will follow cleaning schedules, assist with various areas, and support other staff as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalency (preferred) and at least one year of experience in a commercial setting with laundry/housekeeping procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year’s work experience in a commercial establishment with knowledge of laundry/housekeeping procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of general housekeeping/cleaning duties to maintain the center in a sanitary, safe, attractive, and orderly condition.
• Receives assignments from supervisor and follows cleaning schedule as outlined for housekeeping department.
• Cooperates with other facility personnel to ensure services meet residents' needs and creates a warm, calm environment.
• Adheres to established employee policies and dress code.
