Job summary

Discovery Behavioral Health is seeking a Housekeeper to keep our facility clean and sanitary for clients and staff. Responsibilities include cleaning the entire facility inside and out, laundry of linens, towels and rugs, and ironing on some items.

The role also ensures the appearance of the home, office, and group room is well kept. Daily duties include tidying, organizing, reporting repairs, and attending staff meetings to coordinate with the team.

Qualifications

• Keep living areas dust-free, furniture dust-free, windows cleaned, floors mopped and vacuumed.
• Clean and sanitary bathrooms including tubs, toilets, sinks, and floors.
• Laundry of linens and towels daily; ironing as needed.
• Maintain organized storage, laundry areas, and kitchen areas.
• Make beds daily and change linens as needed.

Responsibilities

• Turn down service of beds.
• Weekly cleaning of refrigerator, cupboards, oven, range, and range hood.
• Daily check of lighting to replace bulbs.
• Attend staff meetings.
• Report items needing repair or replacement.
