Job summary

The Woodlands Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to maintain a clean, sanitary, and attractive environment for residents. Under supervision, you will perform routine cleaning and waste handling tasks, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps, mops, vacuums, buffs, strips, washes and shampoos floor surfaces.
• Cleans and dusts furniture, closets, telephone areas and vents.
• Scours, polishes and sanitizes sinks, counters and stainless steel surfaces.
• Empties waste receptacles and cleans solid waste containers.
• Transports medical waste to outside storeroom as directed.
• Gathers and returns cleaning supplies and equipment daily to support rooms as directed.
