Job summary

WOODLAND MANOR NURSING & REHABILITATION in Conroe, TX seeks a Housekeeper supervised by the Housekeeping and Laundry Supervisor to clean resident rooms and maintain interior and exterior areas, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors and staff.

Responsibilities include cleaning rooms and common areas, following safety and infection control policies, attending orientation, coordinating with other departments, performing floor care, and handling light furniture

Qualifications

• Must interact positively with residents, families, and regulatory agencies.
• Must be able to work long or irregular hours.
• Must read, write, and follow instructions; fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain resident rooms, offices, and common areas.
• Follow safety, infection control, and sanitation policies.
• Attend orientation and required in-service education programs.
• Coordinate daily housekeeping services with other departments.
• Perform floor care duties such as stripping, waxing, and buffing floors.
• Move and replace furniture and maintain supplies and equipment.
