Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Facility Housekeeper to maintain a clean and inviting facility. You will perform sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and restroom cleaning to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for customers and staff. This is a hands-on role with opportunities for advancement.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, capable of working independently in a fast-paced setting. Training provided; benefits may apply as eligible.

Facility Housekeeper Responsibilities

• Provide sweeping, vacuuming, wiping, and mopping for storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevator, etc.

Work Environment

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts or machines, fumes or irritant chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing, or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves or shields.

Physical Demands

The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods of remaining stationary, moving around outdoors, positioning oneself to reach objects at varying heights, and moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50lbs assisted or unassisted.
