Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Facility Housekeeper to keep the U-Haul facility clean and inviting. You will perform sweeping, vacuuming, wiping, and mopping across storage areas, restrooms, hallways, and entryways, helping maintain a neat and safe environment for customers and staff.

We value organization, reliability, and a proactive attitude. This role may include handling responsibilities such as stocking supplies, disposing of waste, and assisting with general facility upkeep as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide sweeping, vacuuming, wiping, and mopping for storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevator, etc.

Facility Housekeeper Responsibilities

• Provide sweeping, vacuuming, wiping, and mopping for storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevator, etc.

Work Environment

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts or machines, fumes or irritant chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing, or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves or shields.

Physical Demands

The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods of remaining stationary, moving around outdoors, positioning oneself to reach objects at varying heights, and moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50lbs assisted or unassisted.
