U-Haul is seeking a Facility Housekeeper to keep our Lafayette, LA facilities clean and inviting. This role supports exceptional service by maintaining a tidy environment, with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

New hires may be eligible for a bonus and on-the-job training supports career growth within the company. The position emphasizes organization, reliability, and a proactive approach to tasks, with duties ranging from routine cleaning to equipment and supply management.

Responsabilidades

• Provide sweeping, vacuuming, wiping, and mopping for storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevator, etc.
• Dispose of trash and maintain cleanliness of facilities.
• Maintain and track cleaning supply inventory, requesting supplies as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Facility Housekeeper Responsibilities

• Provide sweeping, vacuuming, wiping, and mopping for storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevator, etc.
• Dispose of trash
• Maintain and track cleaning supply inventory, requesting supplies as needed

Work Environment

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts or machines, fumes or irritant chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing, or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves or shields.

Physical Demands

The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods of remaining stationary, moving around outdoors, positioning oneself to reach objects at varying heights, and moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50lbs assisted or unassisted.
