The role drives Lean Management, champions continuous improvement, and represents the site to employees, customers, regulators and the community. A technical degree and 7+ years of manufacturing leadership are required.

The Facility General Manager is the senior site leader with overall responsibility for the safe, reliable, and cost-effective performance of the Midland manufacturing facility. This role provides overall leadership for the site, ensuring safe production, quality, financial performance, asset stewardship, people development, continuous improvement, and leading cross-functional alignment. Setting long-term overall direction required to ensure site capability and sustain operational excellence. The Midland, MI facility, built in 1999, manufactures hydrophilic fumed silica used in applications such as adhesives and sealants, chemical mechanical planarization, coatings, printing, and packaging. As the leader of this strategically important site, the FGM is expected to build organizational capability, advance Lean Management principles, and represent the facility with employees, customers, regulators, and the surrounding community.
Bachelor/University Degree, preferably in a technical discipline. 7+ years manufacturing experience, including prior people/budget management experience.
