Job summary
Vonachen Group is seeking a General Laborer to support cleaning, maintenance, and safety tasks at our Davenport site. You’ll operate floor care equipment, forklifts, aerial lifts, and power tools, while delivering reliable service and upholding safety protocols for a diverse client base.
QUALIFICATIONS include a high school diploma or GED, ability to lift 50 lbs, and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Able to pass required safety trainings (Lock-Out-Tag-Out, Confined Spaces, Aerial Lifts, Forklift, Fall Protection, PPE, Bloodborne Pathogens)
- Able to lift 50 lbs and work at heights up to 40 feet
Responsibilities
- Run a sweeper/scrubber to clean factory floors
- Safely operate a forklift
- Operate industrial powered vehicles (e.g., golf carts or Gators)
- Operate aerial lifts to perform tasks above safe reach of a ladder
- Operate pneumatic, battery powered and electric hand tools
- Assist in building/equipment maintenance tasks
- Perform grounds maintenance services (e.g., landscaping and snow removal)
- Maintain a safe work environment following safety regulations
- Complete other duties as assigned
