Job summary

ISH Dining Services is seeking a floor technician to perform floor care and maintenance across the facility, ensuring clean and safe environments for residents, visitors and staff. You will operate floor equipment, maintain logs, and follow infection prevention practices under the Environmental Services department.

Responsibilities include handling cleaning chemicals safely, adjusting daily work assignments as needed, and coordinating with plant operations for routine maintenance and waste

Qualifications

• Must possess technical skills to safely use cleaning and maintenance chemicals.
• Ability to operate floor care equipment according to safety standards.
• Maintains logs and checklists for floor care activities.
• Adheres to infection prevention practices and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Performs floor care and maintenance for hard surfaces and carpeting.
• Cleans and maintains floor equipment; requests assistance when needed.
• Follows safety, risk management and infection control standards.
